The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, though the real showdown won’t unfold until season 3, and a beloved, audience-beloved member has just been cast.

The streaming service revealed this week that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bon Clay. This character possesses the power to morph into an identical duplicate of anyone they’ve touched with their right hand. The performer, who is gender non-conforming and goes by they/them, will depict a interpretation of that role reimagined as non-binary, rather than as a drag performer, in the live-action series, unlike the initial comic and cartoon version.
